IPv6 Labs

The future of networking is here and it has a much longer address. These IPv6 labs explore the next-generation internet protocol through hands-on configurations and real-world scenarios. From setting up global unicast, link-local, and unique local addresses to experimenting with SLAAC, DHCPv6, and dual-stack environments, each lab builds my fluency in IPv6 addressing and routing. These exercises show my readiness to support modern networks as IPv4 exhaustion drives the transition to a more scalable and secure internet protocol.

IPv6 Address Configuration with EUI-64 and Static Routing

IPv6

Configured IPv6 addresses using EUI-64 on router interfaces, enabled link-local addressing without manual configuration, and set up static IPv6 routes to enable communication between PCs in different subnets.
